Symbal AI Acquires Alto AI to Accelerate Expansion in Large-Scale Enterprise Voice Intelligence

San Francisco, CA, November 18, 2025 — Symbal AI today announced the acquisition of core Alto AI technology and capabilities, originating from the Stanford-founded voice-intelligence platform built to analyze large volumes of spoken interactions for enterprise organizations. The acquisition, structured with performance milestones and positioned to reach a significant seven-figure value, supports the creation of Symbal’s Enterprise Voice Division and strengthens the company’s position in applied voice analytics.

Alto AI’s technology has been designed to help organizations understand conversations at scale across recruiting, sales operations, customer support, and other high-volume communication environments. These capabilities will continue forward under Symbal, becoming a supporting component of Symbal’s solutions for global enterprise customers. Symbal will integrate Alto AI’s innovations with its existing AI and data tools to enhance accuracy, speed, and workflow automation for voice-driven teams.

The Alto AI founding team, composed of Stanford engineers and early-stage operators, brings strong technical and product execution experience. The founding group includes:

  • Rishi Sadanandan, CEO – Stanford Computer Science (AI) and Math with an M.S. in Management Science and Engineering, bringing a rare combination of technical depth, strategic judgment, and operational leadership developed through venture experience, early-stage product building, and enterprise-focused AI innovation.
  • Ari Ramsan, COO – YC alum and operator with experience building and scaling AI products for government and enterprise customers, bringing a track record across operations and product execution in fast-moving technology environments.
  • Jay Khemchandani, CTO Product – Stanford Computer Science (AI) and Philosophy, with a track record of developing enterprise-adopted AI tools across hiring, real estate, and design; Grand Prize winner of TreeHacks 2024 for a multimodal robotic arm; focuses on taking problems from first insight to deployed systems with real-world impact.
  • Soham Vasanawala, CTO Platform – Stanford Mathematics and Physics engineer with a background in fullstack platform design, leveraging experience with big data, medical XR prototyping, and signal processing research.
